Full Name:
Ohanko
Nickname:
Ohan

Twenty
Face Claim:
Rick Mora
A LITTLE DEEPER,
Alliance:
Islander
Personality:
Overall, Ohanko is very blunt, quiet and says only what he needs to say. He doesn't usually listen to others, but his chief and is extremely loyal to those he trusts. The man believes in traditions and following the rules. Everyone that doesn't follow the rules, become immediate enemies with him. Ohanko isn't too harsh of a character but he does like things the way they are. Change frightens him, and anything that frightens him; he immediately dislikes. It's only natural for an islander to dislike the things that fear him. Ohanko follows nature and its laws to lead his life. He is also very focused. Everything he does, is always thought out carefully. Ohanko knows what happens when you do things without thinking.
To others...
He does takes a while to accept. He doesn't make friends that easily. He is unbelievably polite when it comes to his elders but with everyone else; it's a mere "hello" and "goodbye". Unless, you manage to interest him in some way. Beautiful women do cut into his blunt shield quite well... Like most people, Ohanko does have a good side and bad side. Also like most people, you would want to get onto his good side. When Ohanko gets mad, which he usually does not; he becomes furious. He lights up like a bonfire, and usually kills in his storms. It is not easy to make him mad though. Probably the most hardest challenge for Ohanko, would be falling in love. He does not learn to get close to people so easily. When he does though; he falls hard. Ohanko protects and takes care of what he loves.
His enemies...
Any stranger by any means is immediately seen as an enemy. Even though his first instinct is to usually kill, Ohanko isn't completely a cutthroat murderer. He usually gives people chances. Ohanko will only harm a human without hesitation if you manage to anger him completely. There are only a few things that could make him that mad. First, taking something away from him that he loves will drive him off the edge. Then, teasing him about hard times he has ever gone through will nearly be doing something as bad as the first thing. Finally... killing or harming someone he truly loves, will surely be having a death wish.

ON THE OUTSIDE,
[/size]Appearance:
Ohanko's body... is extremely built after years of hunting and fighting for his tribe. His chest is well made, with bronzed features and abs. He is quite muscular, like most of the islanders here, from running and fighting. His arms, well carved, show the blue veins running up into his chest. Scars cover his body, shining and flashing like trophies. Ohanko's height it tall, around 6'3", with his legs being long. No he is not puffy, like a pure muscle builder but agile like a dancer as well. His body moves athletically around obstacles; which is quite flexible as well. Due to his size and muscles, Ohanko weighs around 150 pounds. Like most on the island, Ohanko does not take pride in his body; the body for him is purely for survival. Without speed or agile strength, he would not be able to survive.
His face... is quite chiseled out, making his features kind of like stone. It is a warm, honey, brown color, but very serious. His lips, are set in a straight line against his face, curving slightly upwards when he rarely smiles. Ohanko's eyebrows form perfectly against his brow bone; they are quite thick and ALWAYS serious. Finally, his orbs match perfectly in with his serious face; nearly black, they show a sign of authority or strength. These eyes though, are amazingly easy to fall into and turn into a warm gentle brown if you manage to make him happy.
His hair... lays against his back like a waterfall of pure black silk. It's one of secrets, but Ohanko loves his hair quite dearly. It falls around his shoulders, looking wild but beautiful. Due to his heritage, of course it is a dark color. When he was born, Ohanko's hair was a pure black but the sun as has changed it a bit over the years. Unlike most men with long hair, Ohanko does not usually keep his up unless he was about to go to a fight. The parting he has; is straight, smack in the middle of his forehead giving him even more of a serious look.
THE PAST,
History:
Born to a very loving family, Ohanko grew up to learn quite well about life. Unlike most's savage histories, he was quite loved by his family. His father, a promised and respected warrior of the tribe took quite a lot of pride in his son and so did his mother. He had one sister, who he protected with all his heart and soul no matter what. Ohanko was born on the island, around the mountains. As a child, he would go on many hunting trips with his father; up into the mountains and help him hunt. They would have fun and Ohanko learned a lot as well. He would also learn from his mother how to cook and create things. Ohanko was taught, despite the fact that men took lives and women gave them, to learn how to take just what he needed and managed to create as well. He would make clothes for himself and somtimes for his little sister whom he adored.
His teenage years started out quite ruff though. At the age of thirteen, he was a quite strong and a respected little man among the islanders. He hunted with grace and speed, taught by the most wise, fought like a cougar and did quite well. To put it simply, his life was quite perfect. His daily routine would include, helping out his mother in the morning, hunting, teaching his sister stuff, playing around with his fellow islanders and etc. Days passed, and they suddenly realized; the water was getting scarce. It didn't rain for months, the islanders suffered of a drought. Many died and weakened; but fortunetly for Ohanko none of his loved ones had died... yet. It still hadn't rained, and everything had dried up. The islanders suffered of dehydration... Sadly, the world was not kind to Ohanko's family and Ohanko's sister died.
That day, the world ended for poor Ohanko. Even more so, that the next day; rain joyously dropped on the earth and the islander's graves. Furious as hell, the thirteen year old ran away from the village for about two weeks. The islanders knew that he would come back when he wanted to, but decided to hold off the search parties. Ohanko ran and hid in a cave up high in the mountains where he used to hunt with his father. The boy curled up and cried. He cried till no more tears were left in him, and still cried tearlessely. He did not eat nor drink and became very weak. Ohanko was near death, when he spied a curious creature. A foal stood before her mother, neighing for help. Another victim of the drought... Ohanko felt a connection with the tiny thing and managed to walk to it. As it was so young, and did not know about humans; it allowed Ohanko to take care of it for the time being. He finally hunted and took care of himself as well; then fell asleep. He knew the foal would most likely be gone when he woke up, but alas the creature was snuggled right up next to him. At that, Ohanko decided to keep and name her. He named her "Savior", because she was indeed; his savior. After that, he came back to the village and was welcomed. Though he was still not over his sister's death, he was learning to accept it.
As he grew even more into a young man, he had a new blunt edge put into his soul. He did not accept things quite as well, he was no longer close with his family and he did not let people get close to him. There was only one living creature, he allowed himself to be close to and that was Savior. As she grew as well, he broke her and rode her around the island. Time passed, and he became quite a respected character in the tribe following his father's example. But he did not posses the same kind, comforting quality anymore. Ohanko was recognized for his way of leadership, strength and hunting; that was it. He respected his elders and chief immensely, everyone else he didn't bother to really talk to. He has now reached his twentieth year; still part of the village but never really spoken to or messed with, kind of an outcast.
