I could really use a wish right now, wish right now..." THE BASICS, |
Full Name:
Stella Parker
Nickname:
Just Stella usually
Age:
Twenty One
Face Claim:
Barbara Palvin
A LITTLE DEEPER,
Alliance:
Western Key
Personality:
Stella has many conflicting traits in her personality, kind, tough, fiery, calm. She's the kind of girl you would see curled up with a book one moment, and out hunting the next. For the most part, Stella is strong. Both mentally and physically. She is very good with turning away from temptation. Could also probably take down someone with her bare hands. Is determined and tough, she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go out and take it. But coming with this determined attitude comes stubbornness, she doesn't like to back down, even when she knows she isn't right. Stella really doesn't let things get to her, or at least she doesn't show it. She's thick skinned that way. She's brave, if it came down to it, she would give her own life before one of her friends.
Despite her fiery outer personality, she has her calm moments. She could just as easily relax in front of a fire as she could go on a hike. She adores Shakespearian writing and often spends her days just reading his works. Her favorite is A Twelfth Night. A good advise giver when it comes to the tough questions, but is often a little too blunt with her answers. Intelligent and always has a witty comment at the ready. Fun loving and playful once you get to know her.
Likes:
sunsets, reading, hiking, guns, helping
Dislikes:
snobs, others telling her what to do, cold, having nothing to do, open ocean
Strengths:
combat, hunting, fishing, natural leader, brave
Weaknesses:
listening to directions, wild, defiant, stubborn, blunt

Has an athletic build, with strong arms and legs. A good runner. Her hair is dark brown that appears lighter in the sun. It's length is long, just about halfway down her back. Her eyes are gray-blue that sometimes appear bright blue in bright light. She is about 5'7".
THE PAST,
History:
Was born in St. Helena, CA. Her father was a sheriff and her mother didn't give a damn, she walked out on them both just two weeks after Stella was born. Her dad had no clue how to raise a child, but he did the best he could. Being the daughter of a sheriff, along with not having a mother, wasn't easy. Her father was a very "manly man" and he wanted his daughter to be prepared for what was out there. From a young age he took her on fishing trips with his buddies, she liked them, for the most part. When she went to school it was hard to fit in with the other girls who were obsessed with makeup and boys. It wasn't easy.
Her dad, of corse, was oblivious to this. Stella learned to ignore the taunts, her dad had taught her to rise above that. She made it through middle school and high school had their rough moments. Fights weren't uncommon, when the other girls made fun of her, she didn't tend to "talk problems out." Her father wasn't very happy about her punching someone, but was glad she was standing up for herself.
Stella got a job as an a clerk at a fishing store after she finished highschool. It wasn't what she was hoping for, she wanted to become a doctor, but medical school costed a lot of money... Money that she didn't have. Ever since then she has been working at various places, trying to save up enough cash.
Her father surprised her on her 21 first birthday with a cruise ship ticket. He thought she needed to relax and take a break from constant work. She wasn't particularly happy with this present, to her it felt like a waste of time.

Stella smirked when he listed the names he did not want to be called, she was finally glad to be able to lighten up this evening. It was exhausting work to be miserable. "Ever since I found out that 'Stells' was going to be thing, I haven't been so found of nicknames either." She gave him a sympathetic smile.
She admired his owl, fate worked in mysterious ways. His owl reminded Stella of her own, which she hoped would be back soon. He asked about her pet and she smiled, remembering the day she found him. "I found Leo last year before I came to Hogwarts, actually. He had fallen from his nest outside my," She paused choosing carefully what to call where she stayed. No, she didn't want him knowing she was an orphan, it embarrassed her. After a moments thought she continued, "...My home in London. He was just a tiny little thing, sickly too. I took him in as my own, taught him how to fly and everything." She took a quick look back up at the ceiling, hoping he would miraculously appear. But of corse, he didn't. She left out the part of him being missing.
Tiberus had just started to take another bite of his cupcake when, out of the blue, it exploded. Yep, just like that. It exploded. Stella jumped back a little in surprise as white and pink frosting covered her face and new robes. It took a moment to recover from, her eyes narrowed. She wiped the frosting off her face in one quick movement. Her hands shook with humiliation fueled rage. On top of the exploding cupcake, she was having a bad day.
She pitied the fool that did this.
No way in hell Stella would let this slide. She was on the edge already, this just pushed her off.
She narrowed it down to the Slytherin table within seconds, due to the snickers and high fives they seemed to be getting. She strode quickly there, furious. She slipped her hand into her robes and clutched her wand, a 10 inch, walnut, dragon heartstring. Her palm slammed down on the Slytherin table, silverware and goblets clattered, some falling to the floor. Yes, she meant business. "Whatever coward did that little stunt over there, better speak up now." She snarled, her voice low and threatening. Her eyes scanned the table for the culprit. Frosting and crumbs clung to parts of her hair.
