The main thing that you need to know about Cat is that she is a mystery. She isn't one to just open up and bare her soul to anyone she meets. It takes a lot to get close enough to her for her to feel like she can tell you things about her, including her past which few know about and even fewer speak about. She got her name thanks to the skills she learned as an Islander. She has the reflexes of a cat and can sneak through the jungle soundlessly like a jungle cat. Since she has no family left, instead of sitting around feeling sorry for herself, she spends most of her time making herself an expert at survival. She is always hunting, working with her bow, spear or knife, fishing or doing some other activity that will make her more skilled in what she does.
Cat isn't one to take crap from others either. She has learned, especially since she isn't a born Islander, that she has to stick up for herself against the bullies and sometimes even adults that say she isn't worthy of being a part of the tribe. She can also be quite sarcastic and harsh and you have to know her sense of humor to know when she is kidding and when she is being serious. She doesn't back down from a fight either, especially when she's pissed about something so don't make threats because she will challenge you.

Due to living on the island with the Islanders, she has grown into a very fit and agile young woman. She has a very muscular and toned body as well as a wild sort of beauty to her. Her eyes are a gorgeous light brown color on the inside, surrounded by a ring of light green around the outside. Her hair is long and wavy and falls to about the middle of her back most of the time. The color of it depends on how long she is in the sun for. When she has been in the sun for long amounts of the top layer of her hair takes on more of a golden brown, almost blonde tint to it while the underneath will normally stay a dark brown color. She is somewhat tall for a young woman but most of the men in the village are still taller than her. As far as what clothes she wears, she crafted a makeshift sort of bikini looking top out of animal hides as well as a matching pair of shorts/skirt bottoms.
THE PAST,
History:
Catalina Raine wasn't always an Islander. She was the daughter of a pair of rather wealthy and successful parents. Her parents were crazy about each other and really wanted to have a child together but her mother had a very hard time getting pregnant. When they did finally succeed and had Catalina, she was their miracle baby. They took her with them everywhere and did anything she wanted to do. When she was five years old, they decided to take a sailing trip to an island resort for the weekend. Things were going great until a sudden storm hit their small boat. Her father tried the best he could but the three of them had to abandon the ship in the life boats. Just as they were paddling away from their sinking ship, one last massive wave capsized their boat, flipping all of them into the unforgiving sea. That was the last thing Cat remembered from that night. Because when she woke up, she was in the village of the Islanders. The first thing they asked her when she woke up was what her name was, but because she was so young and scared, all she could get out was her last name, Raine. While she was young, she was called an array of things including Rain, child, kid, girl etc.
An Islander woman had recently lost her child to sickness and had offered to take care of Catalina and raise her as her own. At first lots of the Islanders weren't sure about letting an outsider into the village but since she was only a little girl, they finally accepted her as one of their own. There she learned how to fight, hunt, sneak through the jungle soundlessly, ride horses, fish and more. She was one of the best fighters in the village due to how quick and agile she could move. No man could catch her by the time she had caught him. And as she grew, it was only then that she received a name. They called her Catalina, or Cat for short because of her cat like reflexes and how easily she could sneak through the jungle like a jungle cat. It was easy to say that she flourished as an Islander and as she grew, she didn't think about where she really came from and after some time, even the memories she did have of her real parents and that fateful night began to fade a bit. While she flourished in the village with the Islanders, some of the Islanders still don't trust her due to the fact that she isn't Tribe born. And she is constantly trying to prove herself over and over again. When her adoptive mother passed away when she was about seventeen, it left her feeling truly alone but she never let anyone see her weakness. And instead drew strength from it even though when no one's looking, she isn't as strong as everyone thinks.
