A light breeze went by peacefully. The wind aggravated the tree's as they rustled and some loose long palm leaves might even fall here and there. The wind seemed to drift up and mess up Adrian's light brown hair. He was laying among a warm beach, simply soaking up the sun. He wore his favorite orange swimming trunks with a corona in his left hand, a black berry in his right. He took in a deep breath of relief as the smells of salt and fresh air filtered his lungs. He was on vacation, enjoying the beach in which he apparently desired.
Suddenly his black berry beeped. It kept beeping but as he tried to pull the blackberry to his face to see what came in, he couldn't move his arm. That's when everything went black- it was a dream. There was a cool breeze, a little too cold so it sent shivers across his slender body. However there was still a blackberry beeping sound. The sound seemed to finally register, along with the chilling breeze.
Dark green hazel eyes blinked a few times, softly they adjusted to the brightness of sun being reflected off white sand. Suddenly he was blinking violently as he went to raise up off the ground his arm shot with pain as a large chest like case pinned it down. He grunted with discomfort and frustration. He wanted to see why his phone was going off, but then realization led to denial as he looked around where he was.
He pondered if he was still dreaming, considering the fact there was palm tree's flowing in the wind and the smell of salt and fresh air overwhelmed him. Leaning up, he twisted his body and used his legs to kick off the weight on his arm. Some blood gushed from his forearm, but he tried not to look at that, instead he pulled the phone up. Cupping the screen so the sun wasn't making it impossible to see- a simple message was written here.
phone battery is water damaged, please replace it immediatly.
He ran all the events through his mind. He remembered the storm, the harsh crashes then everything went black... and now he was here... "SHIT!" He yelled angrily as he chucked the black berry up the beach side. He stood up and winced at the after shock of using his right arm with its wound. He started walking toward his phone out of desperation, but he then flopped his knee's back into the sand and just sat there. What the hell happened?

Realization hit me as I finally came to an impossible, yet impossibly real, conclusion. I was stranded. Mother and Jaycob were dead, given up to the dark ocean. I felt no sorrow. I was still on an adrenaline rush from the night before. Everything was to surreal, I'm not sure how to go about this. I go to stand up when I hit my head on something. I guess I dragged the door more inland to a palm tree to make some sort of shelter. I didn't remember. I get back on my hands and knees and crawl out of my shelter. I finally get a good view of my new home. Water, water and water. Oh yeah, plus the little spot of sand and palm trees with some ferns and whatnot growing more inland. Help me, God. I think as I walk. Taking my first steps on day one, the sands shift under my feet making it difficult to walk, but not terribly difficult.
I hear a voice, and a word that doesn't come out of my mouth. My eyes enlarge like round O's as I turn my head. I see a man about one hundred paces away, slender, dark hair, decent build. "I'm not alone." I sigh. A weight lifts off my shoulders when another one, about a thousand times heavier than the first takes it's place. This person is a man. Men are much stronger than seventeen year old girls. And men are...well men. I hesitate to go up to him, but give in instead. I walk towards him and stop about ten feet away.
"Hello." I say. My voice sounds all eaten up. I guess that's what comes with inhaling salt water all night and coughing it back up again. I wait for his answer looking at the ocean and letting the wind engulf me, sending my wavy dark hair a flight.

Adrian brought his left fingers to his temples then messaged his eyes. It felt like sand was already in them and his anger level raised. Why the did this have to happen to him? The last thing on his mind was getting trapped on some god forsaken island in the middle of bum fuck no where. In fact he was heading east to Europe to visit his family. This is what you get for trying to be nice and visit, he cursed to himself mentally.
"Hello."
The voice came as a surprise to him. It sounded raspy and broken as he glanced up to a young girl a bit distanced from him. Her brown locks of hair flew in the wind as her face revealed she was very young, hence he averted his eyes to where she was looking. His chest raised and lowered uncontrollably, he glanced down to his outfit of dark grey jeans and his white button up shirt, which had a rip in the forearm where blood painted it red.
It was as if he had forgotten she was there. Was she real or not? He pondered as he glanced up at her tired eyes and battered apparel. He raised to his feet, the sand filtering into his sandals. "Are you from that ship wreck too?... Never mind I didn't just ask that." He closed his eyes and laughed a little angry sarcastic laugh. It was a quiet giggle that grew into a powerful pissed shout toward the sea.
He turned to face her, tempting to yell at her to take out his frustration and confusion. Instead he sort of let his eye twitch as he looked around her. There was many boxes piled among the beach as a crazy smile grew on his face, he ran toward something that looked like a cooler. Ripping it open, he looked down into it as his face began to glow. "Sweet baby Jesus!" He praised as he put his hand in to pull out bottles of whiskey and vodka.
Clumsily he pressed back toward the girl within a matter of moments, he looped an arm over her shoulder. Quickly retracted then grabbed hold of her shoulders, "Kiddo, what the fuck happened last night? Must have been one hella party, eh?" He laughed being sarcastic, opened the whiskey and drank it raw. Feeling the burning in his throat made him feel like it was ecstasy. He glanced down at her and then offered the bottle close to her mouth, "It'll make this all much more of a vacation than disaster" He smiled charmingly, not really reading anything going on around him.

The man raised to his feet and said: "Are you from that ship wreck too?... Never mind I didn't just ask that." He closed his eyes in frustration and laughed. A quiet little laugh that confirmed my thoughts: He's insane.
He turned to me looking as if he wanted to say something but ran past me. Turning I see that he's located a box, a box with vodka and whiskey. "Sweet baby Jesus!" He yelled and grabbed for the drinks. I stand there, eyes having yet to leave their round O shape. He turned around and hook and arm over my shoulder but instead of keeping it there he released me then grabbed my shoulders. "Kiddo, what the heck happened last night? Must have been one crap-load party, eh?" He laughed and took a swig from the drink then put it too my mouth. "It'll make this all much more of a vacation than disaster" He gave a charming smile, but not charming enough.
"Pervert!" I scream as I punch him in the gut, then kick him in his groin. "Who the crap do you think you are? And drinking our fuel source? I think not!" I yell and snatch the bottle from him and put it back into the box. I close the lid and go back to the man. "I don't know what kind of girl you think I am. But I don't have sex with random strangers, unlike you probably." I snap. I'm probably jumping to conclusions but he's really creeping me out. Throwing your shoulders on a teenage girl and your what? Mid-twenties probably? Creep.

Adrian studied her for a moment. With the bottles clutched in both of his hands he suddenly felt like maybe this wasn't all too bad. He hoped perhaps the government can track down his poor little black berry that was sitting in the sand. Reflecting the rude sun off its black water filled screen. Looking at it angered him, but that's when he took a swig of the precious liquid.
Suddenly he was spitting out the clear poison as it landed into the sand. Totally lost, forever. She yelled pervert and had punched him in the stomach, which he had not expected in any way at all. He meant to laugh for a second, but suddenly he felt that pain no man wants to ever feel. He leaned over and began to try and coop with the only type of pain that seemed forever unbearable, but then the bottles were snatched from his hands.
"Who the crap do you think you are? And drinking our fuel source? I think not... I don't know what kind of girl you think I am. But I don't have sex with random strangers, unlike you probably"
His eyes shot open and he momentarily forgot about the pain. He sprung back up and looked her dead in the eye. What the hell was this girls problem? He hadn't made any moves on her, did he? He was scared of what she'd do next so as he leaned up he grabbed her shoulder and covered her mouth with his other hand.
"Whoa scrap! Whoa! Jeesh, do you have any idea what you're yelling right now?" He sighed and felt like panicking. It was only coincidence that Adrian had records back at home of minor sexual abuse back around his business avenue. Nothing extreme, but people are always doing what they can to start a scandal. "I'm not going to do anything like that, okay!" He got angry and squeezed her shoulder subconsciously.
His dark hazel eyes were hard on her. He was scared to release his hand from her mouth. But was there even anyone around here right now? He began to glance around his shoulder, then he glanced back down behind her to where the box held the only things that seemed to matter to him right now. "Just give me back the booze, okay?" He said quietly and began to release his grip.

After I had finished yelling at him, his eyes shot open and in one swift move, off his feet and had his hand around my mouth. A foul smell, vodka, sweat, and man stink flooded my nose.
"Whoa scrap! Whoa! Jeesh, do you have any idea what you're yelling right now? I'm not going to do anything like that, okay!" He squeezed my shoulder, making me flinch and hating him even more.
He glared. "Just give me back the booze, okay?" He started to release his grip and as he did I grabbed his hand, pulled it back over his shoulder and made his fingers go a perfect ninety degree angle pointing to the ground.
"Yes, I realize what I'm saying. I'll telling an old pervert to back off. I'm seventeen ya' weirdo, too young for you! And no, you're not getting this crap back." I let go of his fingers, and realize how tightly I held them. Their tips were white. I walk back over to the cooler thing and open it, looking at what little fuel we have. "We need this for our fire, Perv. Like it or not, you're gonna have to curb your alcohol cravings. Make a banana moonshine still or something. I hear that coconut water has an amount of alcohol in it that maybe you could manipulate. Either way, live without it, Bub." I shut the cooler and sit on it crossing my legs, waiting for a reply.

Justin Flyte
Hasn’t anybody told you to sit back and breathe? You can’t be living life like a loaded gun, Sing out, sing out, Things can only get better!
.xXx. Slowly, much against the young man’s defiant will, Justin started to awaken from his sleep; stirring every so slightly, lips parting to inhale a deep, refreshing breath. He laid sprawled out in a large group of ferns and thick foliage, in the exact same spot he’d collapsed the night before due to exhaustion--no thanks to the one hell of a fucking massive trip he’d made to the island. The man lay still, refusing to open his eyes to let in the light he just knew would be excruciatingly bright, just yet. He was so content just laying there, and for a good minute and a half, tried to fall back asleep. However, just when the man was on the verge of consciousness, a little, soft something nuzzled against Justin’s neck, causing his lips to pull into a small smile, a breathless, raspy chuckle slipping from him. The nuzzling got harder after a moment, and then paused, before Justin felt a light nibble along the base of his neck. His brow furrowed as he brought his shoulder up towards his neck in a ticklish instinct, before wrenching his eyes open, figuring he was either being loved up by some random girl, or some sort of crazy island animal. His eyes met the big, wide, pale amber ones of a very fluffy-looking, red lemur. Yeah, definitely some sort of crazy island animal. Fuck. Immediately Justin let out a big breath, and without trying to disturb the wild, all too affectionate animal, leaned away from it, squeezing his eyes shut in order not to panic. It was just a monkey, right? They’re nice, aren’t they? The man cringed away as the monkey picked at his hair and began sniffing him, before muttering a few very quiet, pleading words. “Please, be a nice monkey.” He said under his breath, before forcing his eyes open once again, as the animal just continued to sniff him. Alright, well it wasn’t any huge beast, and it looked to be mostly alone. That was good for starters. Justin’s eyes flitted from place to place around him, observing his surroundings, before deciding the best plan was to probably ninjaroll out of the monkey’s grip. That was, unless it would set the animal off? Damn it. The man sighed, before the monkey paused the grooming to watch him, catching the movment. Justin took the momentary pause as a chance to sit up, and did so slowly, hesitantly, not wanting to scare the animal off. He was so cautious as he moved, though it seemed it was a pointless act, giving the fact the animal just sat beside him, head tilted, watching him with those abnormally large, curious eyes of his. Justin sighed, watching the animal for a moment. “I guess you’re kinda cute.”
He muttered with a roll of his light, blue eyes, before holding his hand out for the animal to sniff. It did so lightly, carefully, before looking back towards Justin, as if expecting something. Well, they’d just met and he was already trying to mooch stuff off of Justin? Cheeky little bastard. The man smirked, his eyes brimmed with amusement, before using both hands to dig around in his pockets. Nothing. He pulled out the empty pockets to show the monkey in what most would consider a somewhat mad, immature act, before shrugging, and speaking to the animal. “Sorry, man. I don’t have anything.”
Justin’s words were scratchy and rough; the obvious result of inhaling copious amounts of salt water the night before. He was sore and stiff, each and every muscle seeming to protest movement, though Justin decided not to pay attention to the pain, and focus on simply what he was going to do about his current situation. The man reached a hand out to timidly give the monkey a pat, causing the animal to give a little, grumpy growling noise, before scurrying off, though not far. He seemed to want to keep Justin in his sights, though the man didn’t really give much of a care. He just shrugged off the odd reaction before hoisting himself to his feet, his expression shifting to match his short grimace. Well, damn. Had he been beaten during the night or something? Justin stepped from the tree line and stretched, rolling his shoulders, before a nearby voice caught his attention, causing the man to turn towards the sound, brow quirking in obvious question. “Yes, I realize what I’m saying. I’m telling an old pervert to back off. I’m seventeen ya’ weirdo, too young for you! And no, you’re not getting this crap back.” Justin’s brow furrowed, forehead creasing with the sign of growing concern. It seemed as if he wasn’t alone, and neither was the, clearly upset, girl nearby. Immediately Justin began making his way down the beach, his strides quick, though not rushed, as he wasn’t entirely sure if his body was capable of any rapid speeds, quite yet. The sand was hot beneath his feet and Justin found it somewhat uncomfortable, though he redirected his thoughts to the sight that was unfolding in front of him, as soon as he turned a large curve of the beach. He picked up into a jog, ignoring his body’s protests, until he was nearby the two. He didn’t bother to tune in on any of the recent conversation, and instead paused a few feet away as the girl sat sitting on a cool of sorts, his expression wary and protective. “You two alright over here?” He asked, eyeing the older, somewhat crazed looking man, before turning his gaze towards the younger girl, eyes lightening in hopes she was alright. He wouldn’t stand for any sort of misconduct from a man towards a woman; especially a younger one. If something uncalled for was going on here, Justin would be sure to put it to an end. We’re bound to make a change, Take some time to hold somebody! Leat go of fear and all your heartache, Learn to laugh, and learn to cry!

The sun glints high over the horizon of the ocean. It's blue waves pushing and pulling against the island's sand. Come high tide where we're sitting now will probably be underwater. We need to get organized. I start to make plans in my head for a shelter, food searches, beach combings when a voice calls behind me.
“You two alright over here?”
My head snapped back to look at the man. He was sort of tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
"Great," I sigh, my head hanging low. "Another man." And what made this worse was the fact that he was attractive. I felt heat on my cheeks as I looked at him. "Yeah, we're alright. I'm just trying to keep us warm tonight." I state giving the other man a glare not to be trifled with. "Perv, over here, wants to chug down this alcohol. It's going to be our main source for making a fire. We can't exploit a valuable source like that." I fold my arms over my chest. The tank top that I'm wearing has a tear in the front and the presence of these men is making me a bit nervous. So, instead of making this anymore awkward than it has to be, looks like it's time for introductions.
"Hi, I'm Leah." I hold out my hand to shake the younger man's. How many other people survived? My stomach churns as I think of the bodies that are sure to wash up over the next couple days. It's going to be our job to bury them, move them and search the bodies for valuable things and identification. I don't want to think about the bodies now. I just need to focus on the two men in front of me. I can't help but also think about that situation. Two men...one girl. I want to shudder. Surely I won't want to die alone if we don't get rescued within the next year. Does that mean we're going to have to populate the island? I almost gag at the thought.

I'll telling an old pervert to back off. I'm seventeen ya' weirdo, too young for you! And no, you're not getting this crap back."
Adrian began to chuckle to himself again. This was fake, wasn't it? Even if the ship crashed, even if he had survived, even if their was booze, he couldn't have it. It was being told this by a seventeen year old girl. The smirk on his face vanished as he gave her a blunt look of disbelief. She started talking again, but he made absolutely no effort to register or care for that matter. She sat on the cooler and knew she was giving that look of 'haha'. Instead he sighed a deep sigh of exhaustion. He suddenly felt a bit sore and kind of hungry- already. He turned away from her, walked a few steps then let himself fall into the shaded sand.
“You two alright over here?”
The voice of another man sounded across the beach. The wind hide his foot steps in the sand, but as he came around, it was another young character. Adrian suddenly felt like the elder here but without any say of course. "Great, Another man." mumbled the girl, Adrian lifted an eyebrow at her -sexist, he thought. She babbled on about something of him being a perv and wanted to chug all the booze. Hey! he was more than willing to share, but it was still the fire factor. He wasn't that selfish, he thought to himself. But the thought of not having alcohol on this adventure was already aggravating him. They'd hardly seen the worst of it. Addiction just starts his definition.
"Hi, I'm Leah."
She stood away from the cooler and introduced herself to this young man who was suddenly really close. Adrian eyed the cooler for a split second then forced himself to stand. This was certainly already turning into quite the vacation, he thought as anger caused his eye to twitch. But there was a charming smile among his face as he walked up behind the two. Swinging his arms gently around them, he spoke calmly and business like. "I'm Adrian Estevez- I'm a non-perverted alcoholic, thank you very much" He smiled then and looked out toward the endless water. It appeared he swallowed to much salt water.

Justin Flyte
Hasn’t anybody told you to sit back and breathe? You can’t be living life like a loaded gun, Sing out, sing out, Things can only get better!
.xXx. Justin wasn’t any sort of golden boy—he’d done things in his life that he wasn’t proud of, like practically everyone—but, even still, he could never turn and look the other way when something that was obviously wrong was happening. This was the exact reason for Justin making his way over to the voice of a younger girl; one who, by the sounds of it, didn’t seem too pleased. Justin was naturally protective over those in trouble, and the fact that it sounded like there was some creep causing her trouble, well, that intensified his need to find her and confirm that she was alright. He figured she was from the ship, as was he, and vaguely wondered if there were more castaways, only before the man rounded a large bend in the beach, his eyes flitting towards the two figured up ahead. One, a younger—seventeen year old to be exact, if he’d heard conversation correctly—woman, who Justin had never seen before. The other was a man, older, who, by the looks of it, wasn’t too pleased about her sitting on the cooler. Justin’s light eyes flickered towards the cooler briefly, before he approached the two, and asked if they were alright. “Great, another man.” Was the younger woman’s response, causing guilt to gnaw at the back of his mind. Had she been through something that caused her to dislike men? He couldn’t be sure. Justin paused, his brows shooting up at the muttered statement, before he offered her a small, encouraging smile. “I’m not here to cause any trouble, I just heard you from down the beach. Thought I’d check to see if everything was alright.” He said with a small nod, his gaze shifting towards the man, once again, unsure of what to think of the fellow. “Yeah, we’re alright. I’m just trying to keep us warm tonight.” Justin gave another small nod at her words, deciding to wait for more of an explanation as to what she meant. He observed the small glare she gave towards the older man and his jaw tightened instinctively, just slightly; a discreet sign of his undecided nature. Should he trust the man before him was giving the girl trouble, or wait and see where things went? Justin wasn’t sure. His thoughts slid to a halt as the woman started speaking once again, though, and the young man turned to look towards her as she did so, intent on listening. “Perv, over here, wants to chug down all the alcohol. It’s going to be our main source for making a fire. We can’t exploit a valuable source like that.” Ah, so the man was after alcohol. Justin almost smirked at the thought, before giving yet another nod of recognition, and pausing, in order to digest the newfound information. Perhaps the man was an alcoholic? That would explain why he was so desperate to get his hands on what laid within the cooler? Justin eyed the item once more, tossing the thoughts from his own head that a drink would be more then amazing at the moment, before speaking towards the girl. "How’s about you let him have one drink? Just one. That way, he’ll be happy, and there will still be lots for a fire.” He asked with a quirk of his brow, being sure to tread carefully in attempted compromise, not wanting to offend either of the two before him. If there were only a few people on this island from the ship, well then, Justin better be meeting some people he could consider friends. Or, not even that far; he’d be happy with just having someone he could rely on. You know, someone to stick with, to insure one another’s safety. Just as Justin was thinking about such things the younger woman extended her hand towards him and, wondering why he hadn’t done so first, he grasped her hand lightly and shook it back, offering her yet another friendly, warm smile. When life was turned upside down within a matter of a few hours, he knew a smile could go a long way. “It’s nice to meet you, Leah.”
He said with a small nod, before dropping her hand and continuing. “I’m Justin. Justin Flyte.”
He added with a playful grin, before the older man came up behind the two, singing his arm around the both of them. He seemed harmless to Justin, but hey, looks can be deceiving, right? “I’m Adrian Estevez—I’m a non-perverted alcoholic, thank you very much.” Well, wasn’t Justin a smart little fellow! He gave a small, breathless chuckle, before speaking towards the man, his expression light, and unbothered. This, Adrian, seemed like a nice enough guy, though Justin wanted to stick around to make sure he wasn’t out of line. “Well Adrian, the non-perverted alcoholic, it’s nice to meet you too.” He commented in a teasing, warm manner, in no way meaning to offend the man. Justin followed the man’s glance out towards the ocean, somewhat startled by how completely endless it looked. It was somewhat frightening, to realize he’d come from way out there. Would they ever get rescued? Justin wasn’t sure. But, he wouldn’t worry about that now. At the moment, all he needed to worry about was what to do next. We’re bound to make a change, Take some time to hold somebody! Leat go of fear and all your heartache, Learn to laugh, and learn to cry! Words: 940 Muse: Mehh, fail Notes: Sorry if it sucks. He gave me a small smile. Giving me a little encouragement that he wasn't a jerk or a pervert. Just someone who wants to help. But looks could be deceiving.
“I’m not here to cause any trouble, I just heard you from down the beach. Thought I’d check to see if everything was alright.”
Ah, so he's protective. I can handle that. Maybe even use him to an advantage. But that's not right, I can't do that to a person. Especially an attractive person. I sighed and thought how maybe this could all turn out right when suddenly this guy practically gives me an upper-cut in my jaw.
"How’s about you let him have one drink? Just one. That way, he’ll be happy, and there will still be lots for a fire.”
He cocked an eyebrow at me, the sunlight catching his blue eyes making them look as if they were made of pure sapphire. “It’s nice to meet you, Leah. I’m Justin. Justin Flyte.” He said and gave a grin. But this wasn't just a grin you'd give to someone. This was a smile that would light up a room, you couldn't help but smile back. I felt heat rise in my cheeks as I smile back. Justin. huh? Cute name. “Well Adrian, the non-perverted alcoholic, it’s nice to meet you too.” Justin laughed. I gave a small chuckle myself. He had a good sense of humor, and was easy to get along with. This just might not be half bad. All of this, the smiling, the voice and the name have taken my attention away from what he said at first. Letting Adrian, that's what I heard him say, have just one more drink. One last drink to satisfy his desire. But, wouldn't this one last drink only make Adrian want even more? It's better now, that his body doesn't remember the taste very well. It's like trying to remember a dream that you had, you know what happened and yet you don't. So it's better to just quit cold turkey.
"No." I say quietly. I don't want to make Justin mad or hate me. I don't even want Adrian to hate me. If he wants to ruin his life with alcohol that's fine, just don't do it on my watch. "He probably hasn't had a drop of alcohol since the boat went down. He doesn't remember the taste, the relish he feels when he drinks it very well. It's better that he doesn't remember it now, than to have a drink now and want more later." My eyes find Adrian and look upon him with a kind of sadness or pity. Not pity that he hasn't learned to cope well enough with stress or mental pain by covering it up with alcohol, but pity that he has to deal with his pain now. He's going to have withdrawals and they aren't going to be pretty. "I'm sorry, Adrian. But you'll thank me later." And with that, I look to Justin with my blue eyes, stand and pick up the cooler. I'll sleep on this if I have too. But not until I figure out where to hide it, if I hide it at all. Muse~ Isn't my best friend as of this moment. >.< Comments~ Hm...could be better. : / Words~ 535 Pretty decent for me. XP

Adrian knew for a fact, that he knew nothing of survival. He couldn't start a fire, couldn't hunt nor could he stand the fact that he may not have alcohol in his reach.
"How’s about you let him have one drink? Just one. That way, he’ll be happy, and there will still be lots for a fire.”
The feller to his left spoke to Leah, as if Adrian wasn't there. Adrian wanted to lean over and give him a big kiss for possibly understanding. He let a cocky smirk grow over his features when the kid spoke, "I’m Justin. Justin Flyte.... well Adrian, the non-perverted alcoholic, it’s nice to meet you too.” A chuckle escaped as Adrian laughed greeting to Justin, and Leah. Yet he preferred to keep his sights on Justin, seeing as Leah made him twitch with irritation.
"No... He probably hasn't had a drop of alcohol since the boat went down. He doesn't remember the taste, the relish he feels when he drinks it very well. It's better that he doesn't remember it now, than to have a drink now and want more later. I'm sorry, Adrian. But you'll thank me later."
She spoke quietly and there was a inkling she would pull that growing in Adrian. They were in the middle of the ocean, no rules or anything in particular that should be keeping that things away from that he wants other than this here girl. Adrian let his arms flop to sides, pulling away from the two. Once again he let a tad bit of a deranged laugh emerge from his throat. Half denial, half frustration.
"Bull shit." He said nodding then began turning to walk away from the situation. He was afraid of punching the closest living object. "I'm sure there is more of that elsewhere and I'm also very sure there is more survivors to be found." Adrian began walking away quickly. "And I also remember the taste VERY WELL! but thanks for the concern, Leah." He sneered looking away, then disappeared into the thick vegetation.

Adrian's arms dropped to his sides from our necks. I could tell he was disappointed. I would be too if my only sustenance was being taken away from me.
"Bull crap. I'm sure there is more of that elsewhere and I'm also very sure there is more survivors to be found." He began walking away very quickly, as if he couldn't wait to get as far away from us as possible, from me. "And I also remember the taste VERY WELL! but thanks for the concern, Leah." He spat. He then disappeared into the thick undergrowth. Such hatred I felt vibrating from the thickets he disappeared into. And it was directed at me. My mouth dropped open and I faced Justin, embarrassed.
"I-uh..." I dropped to the sand and put my head in my hands. "I don't know what to do." I moaned. I lifted up my head to look at the cooler. It's sides thick with sand and one of it's hinges is broken. But what lay inside that dirty, broken cooler is Adrian's treasure and his life. And I took it away from him. Opening up the cooler with a gentle hand, I take out a bottle of whiskey. It's amber surface mimics the shine of a precious metal. Uncorking the drink and tipping it, bottoms up, into my mouth. I slosh it around. Bitter. Very bitter. I swallow and it's immediate affect makes me wish I hadn't. I cough and cough. Trying to get the vile stuff out of my stomach. It's burning the back of my throat like no tomorrow. I shouldn't have done that. "Idiot!" I choke and try to hack up the stuff.
I sit back down on my butt from being on my hands and knees trying to retch, and look back up at Justin. He's probably positive that he's the only sane one on the island now. "I'm sorry." I sigh. "I had to...understand why he needed it so much." I put the bottle back into the cooler. And look up to Justin for a reply. Muse~ It could be sooooooo much better! >.< Comments~ -facewall- I think I just felt Leah's guilt. -.-' Words~ 344

Justin Flyte
Hasn’t anybody told you to sit back and breathe? You can’t be living life like a loaded gun, Sing out, sing out, Things can only get better!
.xXx.
Whenever Justin was placed into a situation with other people, be them guys, girls, or both, he always tried to make everyone comfortable. It wasn’t something he forced himself to do, but rather a more instinctive, natural thing for him. The man absolutely hated when the ones around him, friend or not, were uncomfortable. It affected the people surrounding said uncomfortable person, and in turn, made the mood less positive. And, to Justin, that was a problem. Why be upset, when one could smile and laugh? Life’s short. Fuck all of those pessimists; Justin was happy with the way he was. Keeping all of this vaguely in the back of his mind, Justin came up with an idea; one that, despite his attempts and desires, would soon fail rather miserably. He then proceeded to introduce himself in return to the two individuals standing near him, first to the girl, Leah, and next to the man, now known as Adrian. He noted the slight flushing of her cheeks as she smiled back towards him and chose to ignore it, mostly because of the fact she was younger then he, at seventeen; did that mean she was still a minor? Justin wasn’t sure. But if she was, he shouldn’t be paying attention to the fact she was blushing. At him. Unless, of course, she wasn’t actually blushing at him. Perhaps he was completely mad. The man almost smirked at the thought, or rather the likeliness of it, and moved on, introducing himself to Adrian, and earning a chuckle from the both of them. It was just as Justin’s laughter has simmered down, in which Leah chose to speak up, causing Justin’s attention to shift towards her, a brow quirking in slight question. “No.” Was all she said, and Justin slipped his hands into the pockets of his dirtied jeans, waiting for her to explain herself. He knew very well she might not have liked his suggestion, and hey, to each their own, right? Justin couldn’t control what others thought was best, but he knew that, should she be arguing with him about letting Adrian have a drink, the man would surely get royally pissed about it. “He probably hasn’t had a drop of alcohol since the boat went down. He doesn’t remember the taste, the relish he feels when he drinks it very well. It’s better that he doesn’t remember it now, then to have to have a drink now and want more later.” Justin was vitally aware of the fact she seemed to speak carefully, as if knowing a very explosive conclusion could come out of her words. His light, azure eyes flickered towards her expression as she watched Adrian, her eyes brimmed with sadness and pity. “I’m sorry Adrian, but you’ll thank me later.” Would he? Justin wondered briefly about the reaction that was to come, before Leah caught his glance and he offered her another small smile, in trying to let her know he wasn’t at all mad for her disagreeing with him. After she’s finished, however, Adrian’s arms dropped from around the two, and Justin’s smile fell from his features, knowing well the man was not too happy. He could practically feel the rage radiating from the man, and turned his head to look at him, his expression simply curious, as the man let out a somewhat hysterical laugh. Ah, god. That wasn’t a great sign. “Bull shit. I’m sure there is more of that elsewhere and I’m also very sure there are more survivors to be found. And I also remember the taste very well, but thanks for the concern Leah.” By the time the angered man had finished, he was a good few feet away, disappearing into the thick, lush vegetation of the island. Justin just stood, staring after the man had left, both brows raised, expression somewhat confused. What the fuck just happened? The man shoved the thought away as Leah spoke, his gaze flickering back towards her, feeling somewhat bad at her guilty, embarrassed expression. “ I-uh... I don’t know what to do.” She said, before dropping to the sand, placing her head in her hands. Justin, being the comforting man he was, sat down beside her, resting his elbows loosely on his knees. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure Adrian wasn’t coming back to ambush the two for the alcohol, before speaking. “Hey, don’t worry about it. He’ll come around eventually.” He offered with another small smile, all before the girl took a glance towards the cooler. Justin wasn’t too sure of her intentions, though kept a steady watch on her as she opened up the cooler gingerly, before pulling out a bottle of whiskey. The man quirked a brow once again, unsure of what she was trying to accomplish, before she tipped the bottle suddenly, taking a swig that seemed far too large for her to be able to handle. Justin jumped to his feet swiftly as she began to cough and kneel over, desperately trying to get the substance the hell out of her body. He snatched the bottle from her hand while she was down, wanting to get the stuff as far away from her as possible, before placing it gently back in the cooler. He debated taking a drink himself, but decided he’d rather not test her nerves with it, and instead shut the cooler, before walking back over to her, his expression full of concern. “You alright there?”
He asked with a bit of a playful grin, teasing in attempt to make her laugh, His tone was light, easy, and as he came to kneel down beside her once again, her voice once again caused him to look towards her, observing her expression carefully, not wanting to offend her in any way. “I’m sorry. I had to... understand why he needed it so much.” Justin shrugged casually, a very natural movement coming from the relaxed man, before once again resting his elbows on his knees, and letting out a soft sigh. “No worries, but uh... next time, I suggest you go a little easy.” He spoke with another grin directed towards her, referring to the fact she swallowed far too much of the stuff at once. Justin had been drinking for a few years, more then he typically should have given his past, so he had a rather good idea on the topic. We’re bound to make a change, Take some time to hold somebody! Leat go of fear and all your heartache, Learn to laugh, and learn to cry!

“Hey, don’t worry about it. He’ll come around eventually.” He said before I had the bright idea to take a swig from a bottle of whiskey. Worst mistake I've ever done.
“You alright there?” He grinned. Gosh he's so cute! I screamed in my mind. Especially when he smiles. It's a great weapon, smiling. Can lure me in like a worm on a hook. He shrugged and sat next to me, his elbows on his knees.
“No worries, but uh... next time, I suggest you go a little easy.” He smiled again. I couldn't help but give a smile back. He's so easy going, it feels natural to smile back at him. He's a nice guy so maybe this...tragedy, won't be so bad. At least he'll provide some relief between Adrian and I.
I looked out to the ocean, the back of my throat still burning a bit, but not as much. How much can things change in one day? Apparently a lot. I lost my mother and brother. In the end, they're dead because of me. If I hadn't been an idiot, they wouldn't have had to put me into a boarding school, and I would have been able to see them more. We wouldn't have needed to go on this cruise. I sighed, heavy with a burden that most teenagers didn't carry. I lost warmth of both family and physical warmth, protection and friends. We're all alone, yet we're not. We have each other, but will we use that to our advantage? I think we will, but I can't be positive.
"So, how crappy was your life until now?" I asked with a playful tone. A smile crept into my face and shone in my eyes. If this was going to be my family from now on, I might as well get used to them. Words~306 ...this doesn't deserve to be a post. Muse~Apparently not very good at the moment. Notes~I need something to give me muse. -.-'
